Master In Advertising Art Direction and Copywriting

Start date: January 2014 | Duration: 12 months - Full time | Language: Italian 

The Master trains creative communication professionals able to link the world of consumptions and a steady developing social reality. The traditional communication tools give way to new and booming opportunities resulting from new technologies, from the social networks, from the spread and re-definition of the everyday life contests through the ambient media, the guerrilla marketing, and the flash mobs. The definition of creative synergies in the couple results in professional profiles able to transform any institutional, commercial and social communication objectives into radio, audiovisual and visual message.

Description:

Graduates in communication, architecture, liberal arts or social disciplines; graduates at university-level schools in creative disciplines from the design and visual arts areas; professionals with at least two years of experience in the field.

Metodology and structure


The first part of the pathway is focused on the analysis of the social phenomena and processes, on the interpretation of the trend scenarios, on the understanding of the contemporary visual languages, and on how creative disciplines, creative thoughts, graphics and multimedia affect each other.

The second part of the Master consists in the analysis of the subjects linked to the development of professionalism and of the techniques closely related to the advertising activity such as brainstorming, design methodology, sketching techniques and creative writing, software for the creation and management of the image, audiovisual editing and postproduction, animation techniques and presentation.

The Master will include classroom lessons, exercises, case histories, workshops, individual and group projects having an increasing complexity, projects in collaboration with agencies and production and recording studios, and individual study.

In relation to the course contents and training objectives, internships may be organized with firms.
