    For this reason, the Master in Editorial Design: Digital and Printed Media not only encompasses the study of the various publishing formats, the role of photography and illustration, the principles of composition and typographic aesthetics, but also delves into the cognitive processes that intervene in the reading process, as well as interface designing and user experience techniques, to make the most of the opportunities offered by the digital environment.

    Description.

    The Master in Editorial Design: Digital and Printed Media is conceived as an exploration of all specific fields in which editorial design is applied, by the hand of the best experts of each of these fields: digital and graphic designers, web designers, printers, publishers, photographers, publishing directors, company and institution communication managers... During the last five years we have attended to the beginning of a phenomenon that had been predicting for a quarter of a century: the passage from the paper to the screen as support for reading. In fact, most of the interesting expectations of professional projects focuses on the publishing industry, a fact that shows a great economic and working dynamism.

    Along two months students will work with outside experts in software development, new formats and interfaces applying intensely their knowledge and experience as designers to develop projects that redefine and give a new meaning to the magazine within the framework of the last digital formats. All these changes are gathered in the Master in Editorial Design: Digital and Printed Media.
