Thanks to the theoretical knowledge and the basic technical and technological skills, students will be able to develop design projects connected with different interior design fields.
Italian Contemporary Design and Trends – Spring Semester is designed to offer a practical study of Italian design, revolving around a number of shows and fairs that exhibit the best of the Italian design system: the Salone del Mobile furniture show in Milan and the Design Week events. During this semester students will acquire the ability and the methods to analyze a specific collection of a brand; the analysis will be related with formal language, use of colors, materials and finishings. This will be the starting point to work on a proposal for a new collection for a “made in Italy” brand.
